Gold Mine Historic Alteration: Community Library Winter Sports Hall of Fame-331 N Walnut Ave

APPLICATION TYPE:  Ketchum Listed Historic Alteration

PROJECT SUMMARY: The Ketchum Historic Preservation Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider and take action on an historic alteration application presented by the Community Library. The project proposes installing a centerline, 3-foot grated system on the northwest wall of the Gold Mine, a Ketchum listed historic building, and a fence-like art feature extending from the northwest wall towards Walnut Avenue. The grated system will provide a base for timeline informational plaques that are one part of the Community Library’s Winter Sports Hall of Fame project proposed to be installed in the exterior walkway between the Gold Mine and the neighboring building at 580 E 4^th Street.
