Wagon Days is Ketchum's signature event.  Founded by community members over 65 years ago to pay tribute to the mining history and heritage and the town's founding.  The cornerstone of the celebration is the massive one-of-a-kind Lewis Ore Wagons, also known as the Big Hitch.  The Big Hitch parade is attended by more than 17,000 people.  

Wagon Days sponsorships are kept at a level where all community businesses can contribute and show their support for this enduring community tradition.  Supporters receive benefits such as signage in the Big Hitch Parade, recognition in printed pieces, reserved seating for the parade, and a designated tent at the Wagon Days Street Party.  This year's Street Party features country music sensation Chayce Beckham.
